(Le Mars) — Le Mars retailers got into the spirit of “Black Friday” by opening early and offering customers discounts and sales for merchandise. Both the “Bad Habit Boutique” and “Joba’s” opened for business beginning at 6:00 a.m. Kelly De Rocher of Bad Habit Boutique says customers took advantage of the early morning sales. She explains what has been the popular items that sold this morning.

De Rocher says Black Friday has been a busy day for her store. Saturday is known as Small Business Saturday, a time when small businesses entice the shopper to visit small businesses following the large box stores from Black Friday. De Rocher believes business will also be brisk on Saturday.
