Zach Kraft And Molly Ann Roder Named Gehlen Catholic’s Homecoming Royalty

(Le Mars) — Gehlen Catholic held its Homecoming Coronation ceremonies Friday afternoon with Zachary Kraft and Molly Ann Roder named as the 2020 Gehlen Catholic Homecoming king and queen.  Kraft is the son of Loi and Rita Kraft.  He is involved in football, basketball, baseball, choir, the musical, the play, and speech contest.  He is a member of the Christian Leadership Team and Honor Society.

Molly Ann Roder is the daughter of Rick and Wendy Roder.  She is involved in the dance team, gymnastics, basketball cheerleader, and is the president of students for life, and is a member of the Christian Leadership Team, and is a member of the honor society and runs track and field.

The emcees for the program included Jeff Augustine and Ella Kreber.

Spanish instructor Greta Prichard entertained the crowd, first with her high energetic coronation address, and secondly, by performing as a Gehlen cheerleader.

Prior to the naming of the 2020 Homecoming King and Queen, the royalty candidates participated in a “Jeopardy” quiz contest in which they were asked various questions about their classmates.

During the week, leading up to the Homecoming coronation celebration, one day was selected to have the theme of “Back to the Future” in which the Gehlen Catholic faculty submitted their High School yearbook photos.  Can you guess who they are?
