Cherie Varenhorst, a nurse at Floyd Valley Health in Le Mars was among 5 area nurses honored by the Sioux City Journal this week. Varenhorst (second from right) was among those honored for their extraordinary care for their patients. The five were chosen out of 40 nominated for the honor.
