TCC’s 10th Annual Back Pack Giveaway is Sunday

(Le Mars) – This Sunday is a special one at TCC Le Mars.  The cell phone store, on the corner of Business Highway 75 and Highway 3 is celebrating their 10th year of giving away backpacks to kids in Le Mars. From 11-4, or until supplies run out, care givers can bring their kids to pick-up a back with school supplies.
TCC Le Mars District Sales Manager, Sherri Bauman, says she excited to have been a part of this tradition since it started 10 years ago.

Culture of Good is the charitable branch of TCC’s business, which has 1,200 locations all over the U.S.
Scott and Julie Moorehead are the owners of TCC and Sherri says Culture of Good is their way of keeping connected to the communities they serve while managing a national footprint.

Since it’s the 10th Anniversary of the backpack giveaway, TCC is doing some extra fun stuff outside the store that day.  The American Legion Riders will be there to host some outdoor games and they are planning to have K-9 Ace from the Le Mars PD there to visit. There will also be popsicles, popcorn and hopefully-face painting.
Of course, you can go visit their store this weekend as well.  Sherri says a way to support the backpack giveaway for future years is by purchasing a featured accessory.

This year TCC plans to give away 200 backpacks with supplies inside.  The giveaway is scheduled this Sunday from 11-4, while supplies last.
