Pheasants Forever Awards


Plymouth County Pheasants Forever recently held it’s annual fundraiser at Century Hall on the Plymouth County Fairgrounds.

At the event on Saturday, March 4, Two men were recognized with major service awards from the chapter.

Auctioneer and real estate broker Bruce Brock was presented the Service to Wildlife award. He was recognized for his many years of service auctioning Pheasants Forever events on the local, state, and national levels. He’s done the same for several other wildlife associations.

This year’s recipient of the Service to Youth award was presented to David Skou of Beginner’s Luck in Le Mars.
Dave has a passion for fishing, and sharing that passion with area youth. He has helped with many fishing events, including those of the local Pheasants Forever chapter. He’s also sponsored free youth fishing derbies in Le Mars.
