The Iowa Girls Coaches Association released their 2023 All-District softball teams following the conclusion of the season. The area was well-represented with eight Plymouth County softball players earning all-district accolades.
Class 1A All-Northwest District:
Larissa Pohlen (Jr.) – Gehlen Catholic
Makenna Bowman (Sr.) – Kingsley-Pierson
Mya Bunkers (Jr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Claire Schroeder (Jr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Marina Cronin (Jr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Class 2A All-Northwest District:
Ashlyn Kovarna (Jr.) – Hinton
Ashlyn Kramer (Fr.) – Hinton
Isabelle Olson (Sr.) – MMCRU
