IML Containers celebrates 20 years in Le Mars
Yesterday, September 23rd, IML Containers hosted an open house to celebrate 20 years of business in Le Mars. Refreshments, facility tours, and product displays highlighted the event.
Travis Russ, the Plant Director at the Le Mars facility, spoke about the origins of the French-based company.
The Le Mars facility produces over 6 million parts every week as part of a 24/7 operation.
IML produces containers for several big brand names.
IML has seen a lot of growth in Le Mars since 2006.

Orange City Area Home Health & Hospice announces new location
Orange City Area Home Health & Hospice has announced that they will move to a new location beginning next week on October 1st. The office will relocate from 400 Central Avenue NW, Suite 200 to 626 8th Street SE in Orange City.
The new office is more centrally located and offers a more accessible entrance without the challenging stairs found at the previous location. The space will also provide a dedicated area for support groups, educational programs, and gatherings for patients and families.

Variety Children’s Charity grants funding to 104 Iowa nonprofits
Variety – the Children’s Charity announced that 104 nonprofits across Iowa have been selected to receive funding through its annual grant program. Sioux City’s Boys & Girls Club of Siouxland, Camp High Hopes, and Unity Point Health received grants. Orange City’s Area Health System also received a grant, as well as The Bridge of Storm Lake and Spencer’s Seasons Center for Behavioral Health.
Each year, children’s nonprofits from communities across Iowa have the opportunity to apply for Variety grants to support programs and projects aligned with the organization’s mission of caring for children. From grassroots organizations serving local communities to nonprofits with statewide reach, this year’s grant recipients share a commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of Iowa’s children.
