“Touch-a-Truck” highlighting last Farmers Market of the season

The last Le Mars Farmers Market is being held tomorrow morning, and to mark the occasion, NIPCO is holding their second annual “Touch-a-Truck” event. Several types of trucks and large vehicles will be showcased and open to visitors at the Farmers Market.

Angela Catton, vice president of communications and development for NIPCO, listed the trucks to be shown on Saturday to KLEM.

Catton says the event is great for kids, who tend to be fascinated by the trucks on display.

Catton says that she encourages families to come out, and that NIPCO will have plastic hard hats, stickers, and other goodies. The Farmers Market itself will have food trucks, live music, kids’ tattoos, and deals on ice cream. The Farmers Market and “Touch-a-Truck” opens at 9 a.m. Saturday, and ends at noon.
