(Le Mars) — Gehlen Catholic is celebrating its Homecoming festivities today. Earlier this afternoon the new Homecoming King and Queen were selected. Emcee, Carli Bollin made the announcement to the gathered crowd.

Queen Brittany Schmit is the daughter of Chris and Ruth Ann Schmit of Hospers. She is involved with the National Honor Society, Students for Life group, and softball. The King, Ryan Stoll, is the son of Dan and Betsy Stoll of Granville. His activities include basketball and baseball.
