Andrew Luck went over 300 passing yards for a team-record seventh straight game, completing 25 of his 46 throws for 354 yards and four touchdowns. T.Y. Hilton, Reggie Wayne and Coby Fleener each had scoring receptions of more than 30 yards as the Colts dropped the Giants to 3-5.

THURSDAY RESULTS – November 6
LE MARS — Gehlen Catholic held their post season football banquet Thursday night, honoring the 2014 Jays. Head coach Tony Gunter announced at the end of the evening that he would be stepping aside after 16 years as a coach at Gehlen Catholic, the last 13 as the head coach. Coach Gunter guided six Gehlen teams to the playoffs and had nine winning seasons. He will continue to serve as the school’s athletic director. One of Tony’s assistant coaches, Jeremy Schindler, will take over the reigns of the football program next season. Schindler is the head boys track coach in the spring and serves as an assistant softball coach in the summer. The Jays suffered their first winless football season since 1979, going 0-and-9 in 2014. Senior Brock Nohava was named the defensive MVP and also won the Pride award. Solomon Freking was named the offensive MVP.

CINCINNATI – The Cleveland Browns had three short rushing touchdowns and allowed just 165 total yards in a 24-3 win over the Bengals in Cincinnati. The Browns ended a 17-game road losing streak in division games and improved to 6-3, tying Pittsburgh for the AFC North lead. Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was just 10 of 33 for 86 yards and three touchdowns before he was replaced by Jason Campbell.
