Mark D. Peters, 60, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars. Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. Dr. Jean Ziettlow and Rev. Peter Rosenkvist will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. to greet friends. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the funeral on Tuesday.
