(Le Mars) — An estimated 300 plus motorcycles rolled into Le Mars Saturday afternoon for a memorial poker run in honor of a fallen police officer. The sounds of the combined bikes could be compared to thunder. The motorcycles and their riders arrived in Le Mars at about 2:00 p.m. and gathered inside the Wasmer Post #241 American Legion hall to select their card from a deck of cards. After stopping at Le Mars, the motorcycles were heading to Westfield, and then on to North Sioux City, South Dakota, before heading back to the starting point in Sioux City.
