(Le Mars) — Gehlen Catholic has announced its Homecoming King and Queen candidates for this year’s Homecoming festivities. There are four queen candidates and four king candidates and they include: Jade Goergen, Amanda Richardson, Kaylee Schmit, Catalina Uribe, Gerardo Beltran, Cooper Davis, Dustin Schmit, and Colin Wise. Gehlen Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, September 16th. The emcees for the Homecoming Coronation include: Stephanie Heuertz, and Jared Stoll.

Monday, September 12:
- Adult ESL Class from 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.
- C/JV/V C-Squad Volleyball Tournament vs. TBA at Gehlen Catholic at 4:00 p.m.
- C/JV/V JV Triangular Volleyball vs. South O’Brien and Unity Christian at Unity Christian at 6:00 p.m.
- JV/V JV Football vs. West Sioux at Jim Lorenzen Field

- Honor Society Meeting at 3:00 p.m.
- JH 7th/8th Football vs. Hinton at Hinton at 4:15 p.m.

- Parade line up at 1:15 p.m. with the parade starting down Central Avenue at 1:45 p.m.
- Varsity Football at 7:00 p.m. at Jim Lorenzen Field versus Woodbury Central
- Homecoming Dance 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
