(Le Mars) — In less than three hours, the folks from Bob’s Drive-In, American Legion Wasmer Post #241, and the Le Mars Little League were able to serve 1800 hog dogs during the “Taste of Summer” event held Saturday at the American Legion hall. The proceeds go to help fund the Le Mars Little League organization. Just prior to the start of the famous Bob’s Hot Dogs being served, the Le Mars Little League received a donation totaling $1,000. The donation was made by Roger Pitts in memory of his mother, Audrey.
