(Le Mars) — Members of the Boy Scouts Troop 188 of Le Mars visited the Le Mars Fire and Rescue Station #1 Tuesday evening to get a better understanding of the the local fire fighting team. Lt. Kevin Bolton and Fire Fighter Joe Morris explained to the group that being a fire fighter is more than just fighting fires. Bolton informed the 16 Boy Scouts about the many duties of fire and rescue workers. Morris and Bolton told the scouts about the equipment that is used, as well as the different trucks, and their different uses.
