Floyd Valley’s “Garden Party” A Success

(Le Mars) — Over 300 people attended The Floyd Valley’s Foundation “An Evening in The Garden Party” event held this past Saturday evening at the Le Mars Convention Center. The event raised nearly $49,000.00 towards the South Courtyard Renovation Project! The Floyd Valley Foundation would like to thank the planning committee, the sponsors, donors and the participants.
The event was comprised of wine and craft beer tasting, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and live/silent auctions, as well as The River Rats Dueling Pianos. Attendees not only helped raise funds, they also enjoyed a fun-filled evening.

The proposed project will create a beautifully landscaped courtyard space and provide a “healing retreat” for our patients, families, and the community to enjoy. The plans is to include this space, the natural surroundings of a soothing water feature, scents of flowering plants, green trees and natural grasses. With funding in place, the project is slated to begin in the Spring of 2018.

“We are extremely grateful for the support from the community and businesses in helping to make this event successful and this future project a reality!,” stated Amy Harnack, Foundation Manager.

“I am particularly grateful to the planning committee that put such a successful and fun evening together! Their positive and enthusiastic planning was evident in every detail of this very successful event,” stated Mike Donlin, Administrator.
