(Le Mars) — Retired dentist, Dr. Tom Jeneary of Le Mars has announced his candidacy for the State Iowa House of Representatives.
Jeneary currently serves as a board member of the Iowa Dental Board as he was appointed by former Governor Terry Branstad. Jeneary will run on the Republican party. Although he has not had any previous experience as an elected official, he is a past president of the Plymouth County chapter of Pheasants Forever, and has served numerous board positions with his church, the Presbyterian-United Church of Christ of Le Mars.
State Representative Chuck Holz approached Jeneary to consider running for the lawmaker position, and offers his full support and endorsement.
