(Le Mars) — At least five inches of new snow has fallen on Le Mars as of 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, causing several school cancellations, including the Le Mars Community School District. All other Plymouth County schools have also decided to cancel classes. Authorities report a number of traffic accidents and vehicles in the ditch have occurred.
