(Le Mars) — Emergency rescue units were summoned to county road K-49 near 270th Street, about seven miles south of Le Mars, for a roll-over accident involving one vehicle. The accident was reported shortly after 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon. A service truck belonging to Altec apparently had driven on the shoulder of the road before losing control and rolling, ending up in the west ditch on its top. The driver of the truck was transported to the Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars by the Le Mars Ambulance Services. Plymouth County Sheriff’s deputies are saying the victim suffered “unknown injuries”, but they don’t believe those injuries are life threatening. The Le Mars Fire and Rescue Department, Le Mars Ambulance, and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the accident scene. The accident remains under investigation by the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office.
