Looking Back At The 2019 Orange City Tulip Festival

(Orange City) — This week would have been the annual Orange City Tulip Festival.  The annual event was to be held Thursday, May 14th through Saturday, May 16th.  The northwest Iowa community uses the festival to celebrate and acknowledge its rich Dutch heritage.  This year, 2020, was to be the 80th annual tulip festival, and at the same time the residents of Orange City were wanting to also celebrate the town’s Sesquicentennial.  However, unfortunately, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, officials decided to cancel this year’s celebration.  Even though there is not a tulip festival celebration for this year, KLEM radio wants you to enjoy all the colors, sights, sounds and pageantry associated with the Annual Tulip Festival.  Therefore we invite you to view the collection of photos from last year’s event, and we can’t wait to see the Tulip Festival return in 2021.
