Gehlen Catholic Schools opens doors to newly renovated gym
Gehlen Catholic Schools will hold an open house for their newly renovated gym this upcoming Wednesday. The gym was renovated over the summer to replace the floor, bleachers, and lighting, among other improvements.
Gehlen development director Amy Jungers told KLEM that plans for the renovation started with the gym floor.
Jungers says the school started planning for more improvements to the gym while the floor was being replaced.
Two new videoboards were also added to the gym courtesy of a donation.
Jungers says the new gym got a “jaw-dropping” reaction from students.
The new gym will have an open house on Wednesday, November 5th, with light refreshments provided and a presentation starting at 5:30 p.m..
