Velma Clark, 100, of Kingsley, Iowa passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Kingsley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Kingsley United Methodist Church, with Pastor Karen Garrison officiating. Burial will be at the Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, with the family present from 5-7 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service on Tuesday. Dennis  J.  Lenihan Jr., 61, of Le Mars passed away suddenly Friday, January 18, 2013 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars.  Reverend Paul Eisele will celebrate.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation with the family present will be after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 with a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen-Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars.  Visitation will resume 1 hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church.

Denis L. Sudtelgte, 83 years old, of Alton, IA passed away Tuesday Jan. 15, 2013 at The Abbey in LeMars, IA. 
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen with Rev. William McCarthy officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Remsen.  Graveside Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 3328 and American Legion Post 220 of Remsen.  Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013.  There will be a parish rosary at 5 p.m. and a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m., all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.  Condolences may be sent online to www.fischfh.com.

James Ulysses Lorenzen, 83, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the United Methodist Church of Le Mars.  Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled at 7:00 p.m.  There will also be one hour of visitation at the church on Saturday prior to the service.
