KANSAS CITY – Lorenzo Cain had three RBIs and the Kansas City Royals erupted for seven runs in the second inning to beat the San Francisco Giants 10-0 and force a Game 7 in the World Series. Mike Moustakas hit a solo homer and had two RBIs, and Eric Hosmer laced a two-run double to back rookie Yordano Ventura, who held the Giants to three hits in seven innings. Jeremy Guthrie starts Wednesday night for Kansas City against Tim Hudson in a rematch of Game 3, won by Kansas City 3-2.

KANSAS CITY – Madison Bumgarner capped his World Series MVP performance by allowing two hits over five shutout innings of relief to help the Giants complete a 3-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals in Game 7. Bumgarner was 2-0 with one save, a 0.43 and nine hits allowed in 21 innings in three games. Pablo Sandoval was 3-for-3 with two runs scored last night’s victory, and Michael Morse singled home the tiebreaking run to finish with two RBIs.
