The Iowa Girls Coaches Association has released their 2023-24 All-District girls basketball teams following the conclusion of the regional tournament. Ten area athletes and one coach garnered recognition with All-District honors.
Class 1A NW District:
Carmindee Ricke – Remsen St. Mary’s
Claire Schroeder – Remsen St. Mary’s
Makenzie Hughes – Akron-Westfield
Mya Bunkers – Remsen St. Mary’s
Whitney Jensen – Remsen St. Mary’s
Coach of the Year: Scott Willman – Remsen St. Mary’s
Class 2A NW District:
Ashlyn Kovarna – Hinton
Bailey Boeve – Hinton
Sydney Doeschot – Kingsley-Pierson/River Valley
Class 4A West District:
Jaelyn Marienau – Le Mars
Sarah Brown – Le Mars
